Go Into All the World
Beloved friends and partners, I cannot even begin to share how excited I am right now! Tonight, our plane leaves for Uganda, Africa! The flight is twenty-one hours one way, so we will arrive in Uganda on Thursday (August 7). This is not just another ministry trip. This is a divine assignment, and my heart burns with the same fire that Isaiah felt when he declared, "Here am I; send me" (Isaiah 6:8).
From August 8-14, Pastor Kim Norris and I will be ministering the Gospel in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda, Africa, and let me tell you something - I am absolutely thrilled for what God is about to do!
We will return home on August 16, but saints, the impact of this mission will last for eternity. The harvest is truly plentiful in Uganda, and we are going as laborers sent by God to fulfill the Great Commission: "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15).
As we begin this journey, I am asking you to join your faith with us as we pray for:
SAFE TRAVELS
Pray for our journey. Lift us up for safe travel with no turbulence and favorable weather conditions. Remember, we serve the God who calmed the storm and walked on water! He who spoke the winds and waves into submission will keep us in His care.
REVIVAL
Pray for God to move mightily as we share the Gospel. Ask God to send a powerful manifestation of His tangible presence as we minister the Word. We are expecting God to show up and show out! We’re expecting Him to demonstrate His power in ways that will leave no doubt that He is God!
Ask God to touch every heart that hears the Gospel, that many will be blessed, encouraged, and refreshed in their faith.
THE MIRACULOUS
My faith is stirring as I write this because I know what our God can do! Throughout our ministry, we have witnessed the blind receive their sight, the deaf hear, the mute speak, and the paralyzed rise up and walk. We have seen tumors disappear, broken bones mended, and cancers vanish at the name of Jesus!
The same God who did it before will do it again. Pray for mighty healings and deliverances, for God to demonstrate His power through signs, wonders, and miracles.
Pray for incurable diseases to be healed, for paralyzed limbs to move again, for limbs that are shorter to grow out evenly.
Remember what Jesus said In Mark 16:17-18, "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues… they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."
Pray for those battling oppression and depression, for those who are possessed by demons to be completely set free by the power of the name of Jesus. Jesus said in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
BREAKTHROUGH AND RESTORATION
Pray for breakthrough and restoration. Lift up those marriages that need divine intervention - pray for God to restore what the enemy has tried to destroy. Pray for financial breakthroughs for those who have been believing God for supernatural provision. Ask the Lord to give divine direction to those who are seeking their destiny and purpose.
HARVEST OF SOULS
Above all else, pray for souls to be saved. This is at the core of everything we do! Pray for sinners to come to the saving knowledge of the cross, for those backslidden to return to faith in Jesus Christ.
