You’re Going to Make It to the Other Side
Some of you reading this right now have been caught in the middle of a storm, wondering how things are going to work out. But I stopped by to tell somebody: You’re going to make it to the other side! That is the Word the Holy Spirit gave me for the International Healing Service.
The power of God moved mightily during that meeting. My favorite miracle that took place involved a woman who had neck and shoulder pain since 2021. She was so flustered when she received her healing. I can never forget her reaction. She had never gone to the doctor because she believed God would heal her, and he did! All glory to God! The same God who healed that woman can do it again. What are you believing him to do for you?
When All Hell Breaks Loose
In Matthew 14, Jesus told His disciples to get into the ship and head over to the other side. The disciples obeyed, "But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with the waves” (Matthew 14:24).
"Midst" means they were at the halfway point. I'm preaching to somebody who's halfway there! You're wondering why all hell is breaking loose in your life. It's because you made progress! If you weren't making progress, the devil wouldn't be fighting you.
The Bible says that the wind was contrary - that word means opposition. It was opposing them. The wind doesn't have a mind of its own. It was the devil himself using the wind to delay the disciples’ progress.
But in the fourth watch of the night - the darkest hour, 3 AM - something supernatural happened. The disciples were so caught up in the storm, they didn't even realize Jesus had ushered them into a new day right in the midst of the storm!
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5)! The devil's got some of you so blindsided by the storm that you don't even realize you're in a brand new day. You may be in the storm, but your season has changed!
Your Storm is Under His Feet
And then they saw Him - Jesus walking on the sea. Not swimming through it, not being tossed by it, but walking on top of it. Your storm is under His feet! He's not moved by your storm. He's got His eyes on you, and He's headed straight to your rescue.
When Peter saw Jesus, something supernatural happened. He received an impartation of faith right in the middle of the storm. Peter said, "Lord, if it's You, command me to come to You on the water."
And Jesus said one word: "COME."
He's telling you now to jump out the boat. He's telling you to walk on your storm. He's telling you to walk on your cancer, your diabetes, your heart disease, your financial crisis, your family situation. Your storm just lost control over your life!
Mustard-Seed Faith
When Peter started to sink, Jesus said, "O you of little faith." But I studied this more closely - in the last storm they faced, Peter had NO faith at all. This time he had faith! Jesus wasn't rebuking him; He was acknowledging his growth.
At least you got faith! All you need is a tiny bit. If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can move mountains (Matthew 17:20). You don't need perfect faith - you just need SOME faith.
Someone reading this, your life, your ministry, your health, your finances, your next level in God is about to take off. The weapon formed against you shall not prosper (Isaiah 54:17)! You're going to make it to the other side! This is not the time to give up. This is not the time to quit. This is the time to press in, get into prayer, and watch God do what only He can do.
Greater is He that's in you than he that's in the world (1 John 4:4). You are more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus who loves you (Romans 8:37)!
Uganda Missions Trip
God has opened an incredible door for our ministry – a trip to Uganda, Africa from August 6-16. During this visit, we'll share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through teaching and preaching, while also preparing for a major crusade planned for 2026 or 2027 that will reach thousands. I'm asking you to partner with us in this mission. Your support makes this trip possible and makes you a vital part of the work God is doing in Uganda.
